| Saladin was a brilliant General, who after leaving the Turkish army and his oppressive family member (forgot the exact relation) managed to raise an army and do what the Turkish army couldn't; Kick the crusaders' asses! He took over Egypt and turned it back into a functional nation. My vote lands on good. |

That's a good point, but the whole muslim fundamentalist tagged along with him was not a good symbol. Although, at that time, it was more or less average to be religiously fundamental. |
